Since 1999, Darklight Festival has presented the best in filmmaking, digital media, VFX, animation and artist talents both nationally and internationally.

Darklight provides a critical platform via public screenings, workshops and discussion groups that inform and support the emergence of new work and practices in the creative industry.

This annual three-day festival, provokes and enlightens its audience by introducing new ideas and technologies and connecting audiences with cutting-edge digital content.

Darklight Festival Programme 2014

Darklight Reboots in 2014 with a programme that cross-pollinates three intersecting themes, where ideas and experiences can be shared across a number of events – screenings, talks, workshops and networking.

The themes are Hack The NewHybrid Documentary and Digital Storytelling.

Guests and audiences will interact over the course of four days, culminating in a think tank that explores the programme highlights, burning issues and outcomes.

Watch this space for programme announcements from February.
