As part of our Gaming strand, Darklight presents a discussion contrasting the experiences of working with high profile internationally games to the underground world of indie game development.

Moderated by Patrick O'Neill from the Irish Film Board / Bord Scannan na hEireann, topics to be discussed include:

- The Do's and Don'ts of Indie Gaming development how can these innovative, creative and experimental games reach an audience?

- Distribution for independent games - Do the same issues exist in the commercial game landscape, where thousands of titles are released each year and only a fraction become household names?

- Moving beyond the shareware origins of indie gaming, is it possible to make money from Indie Gaming? How to turn your passion project profitable and how do you make your game stand out from the rest?
