Festival programmer Nicky Gogan will host this show and tell event, where Kristín and Fergal will screen and discuss their work and talk about their collaborations - exploring the symbiotic relationships that exist between, directors, artists, musicians and animators.
Fergal Brennan is an artist, animator and illustrator based in Dublin. Fergal specialises in computer and stop motion animation, he directs short films, adverts and music videos and in this capacity has a breath of experience collaborating with musicians, designers and filmmakers. http://mynameisfergal.com
Kristín Björk Kristjánsdóttir, otherwise known as Kira Kira, Kristín Björk Kristjánsdóttir is a composer and audio/visual prankster from Iceland. She is a founding member of Kitchen Motors, a label and collective based on experiments in music, creative collaboration and the melting-together of art forms. Kira Kira sprang from this collective in year 1999 and to this day works with Kitchen Motors’ ethos at heart -a spirit of playfulness, exploring the relationship between experimental music and visual arts, collaborating with various artists. http://kirakira.is
