A tussle between hipsters and gamers, an epic struggle that cuts to the heart of much contemporary conflict: Sprite v 7Up, Bap v Beef, Wizard v Dragon. Played out in urban Manchester but established on the digital fields of ‘Wizarderia,’ Wizard's Way is a classic rite of passage story of goodies and baddies, love and war and a blueprint for modern living.

Metal Man’s debut feature film, 'Wizard’s Way,' was shot in Manchester on a micro budget and documents the lives of two friends, Barry Tubbulb and Julian ‘Windows’ Andrews, who’s lives are turned upside down by the arrival of two ambitious filmmakers, Joe & Chris. They know something about the aging online fantasy video game, ‘Wizard’s Way’ that Barry and especially Windows play obsessively. This award-winning film has won hearts and minds from the UK right over to Hollywood, with maverick American comedian, actor and producer Jack Black taking up the cause and coming on board as Executive Producer and Ambassador.

What the Critics Are Saying:

'Wizard’s Way uncovers some fairly odd sub-cultural traits among fantasy-game geeks, sometimes ending up in felicitously unexpected places.'
