Devious Theatre
Formed in 2006, Mycrofilms has made many music videos and shorts including the hilarious sitcom Vultures and their new short Hot Water Bottle.  They will showcase their work both new and old along with showcasing their sister company Devious Theatre who in the past 6 years have produced 14 shows.   Their artistic credo is mostly ADHD based and fairly guerrilla

Cartoon Saloon

Cartoon Saloon

Cartoon Saloon is an Irish Animation Studio based in Kilkenny. It was recently nominated for an Academy Award (R) for Best Animated Feature film. It began as an informal partnership between a group of animators brought together by Paul Young and Tomm Moore in 1999. Cartoon Saloon has since grown into a multi-award winning animation and illustration design studio. The studio works with many diverse, international Clients such as Disney, BBC and Cartoon Network.

New Indie Voices is a Selection of our favourite shorts from last year’s New Indie Voices programme where we set out to find emerging film and animation talents across Ireland.

Films include:  Blue Passage (Luca Roccini), Digital Therapy (Cian McKenna), The Long Way Home (Andy Rea), Anteater (Andrew McAvinchey), The Lonely Beast (Chris Judge & Cliona O’Flaherty), Fluffy McCloud (Conor Finnegan), Lady On The Rock (Jessie Ward), Gunns (Michael Kelly), Doyle (Al Early), I’m Fine Thanks (Eamonn O’Neil), Billy in the Bowl (Andrew Keogh) and Internet Story (Adam Butcher).

New Jackson
In the dark they live. From a studio near the sea, New Jackson make nocturnal house jams with a ghostly disco tint, created with care and respect for dancing and listening. With one release down, ‘The Night Mail’, New Jackson is preparing their second EP, which will land in September-ish. Shoot out the lights. www.newjackson.com
