12.30 Margin - shorts on the theme of regeneration and new generations. A short programme of films produced and directed by NCAD and the Educational Unit at Portlaoise Prisoners. Guest of the Nation- Documentary by Ronan Gallagher.

Nilsson is a pioneer of today's digital revolution, and SCHEME 6 is the latest in his 9@Night film series.

A New Media Scotland touring programme selected by Chris Byrne.

11.30 Exposure - screening emerging artist's work.
Showcasing remarkable emerging work from both Irish and
international artists, Exposure will cover a number of disciplines from animation to DV narrative and experimental short works.

2.00 Dark - screening experimental narrative short films.
A selection of short films that are humorous, dark and fantastical, with a very strong narrative, each one of these shorts was shot on Digital Video and was chosen for its exceptional visual style.

4.00 Light - screening of experimental short films.
Light is a programme of pioneering experimental digital video work, from both the art and film worlds. It is an occasion to see thought-provoking work that is pushing the boundaries in aesthetics and visual narrative normally not given a platform on the big screen.

5.30 Café Philo - interactive film round table (In Salon)

6.30 Motion - screening graphic and music led exploratory films.
This program is a selection of contemporary graphic and music led exploratory films and music promos made by a diverse range of
creative visionaries, it will highlight a mixture of international work and new Irish collectives.

8.30 Warp Records
London based electronic music label, Warp Records and arts review magazine, Creative Review joined forces to run their 'film for music' project. + Irish Selection.
